Hailed as a “bright, agile soprano and outstanding vocal artist” (Opera Now) the young Canadian soprano, Ashley Alleyne Thouret is currently a principle soloist at the Opera house in Dortmund, Germany under the direction of acclaimed director Jens Daniel Herzog and musical director Gabriel Feltz. Among other performances, Ms. Thouret can be seen and heard there as Sophie (Der Rosenkavalier), Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), Zdenka (Arabella), Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro), Micaela (Carmen), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Gretel (Hansel und Gretel), and Violetta (La Traviata).

Ms. Thouret made her European debut in Munich at the Gasteig as Anna Kennedy alongside Krassimira Stoyanova in the title role of Donizetti's Maria Stuarda. Subsequent engagements included debuts as Liu (Turandot) and Nedda (Pagliacci) with the Stuttgart Philharmoniker and Opernfestspiele Heidenheim under the direction of Maestro Marcus Bosch.
